What is grant mccann?

Grant McCann is a former professional football player and current football manager from Northern Ireland. He began his career as a youth player for West Bromwich Albion before making his professional debut for Everton in 1998. He went on to play for several clubs, including Sunderland, Cheltenham Town, Barnsley and Scunthorpe United. During his playing career, he represented Northern Ireland at international level, earning 39 caps and scoring 1 goal.

After retiring from playing, McCann became a coach, working as an assistant at Linfield FC in Northern Ireland before joining Peterborough United as a coach in 2015. He was appointed as the club's manager in May 2016, and led the team to the League One play-offs in his first season in charge. He was sacked by Peterborough in February 2019, and later that year was appointed as the manager of Hull City, where he is currently in charge.
